What Our Guests Say . . .

Deborah W (Lehigh Lodge)
If you need a break from society-this is it!
The Lehigh Lodge is a precious little gem. The location is private, the view and sound of the Lehigh River is so tranquil and relaxing. We spent most of our time on the screened in porch enjoying the view. From the moment we walked in the door we felt at home. The welcome snacks of chocolate chip cookies, mini scones and muffins under a glass cloche were a sweet surprise. The thick, fluffy bathroom towels were a luxury not usually found in rentals or hotels. The wonderful bathroom amenities provided were very much appreciated as we had left our toiletries bag at home by mistake. The shower is small but adequate-the bathroom is so cute, we didn’t mind. The beds were very comfortable. Between the sound of flowing water and the cozy bed, we slept wonderfully. We enjoyed reading the rare antique books in the lodge. When the weather turned chilly, we moved indoors and enjoyed a fire in the fireplace. The owners have lovingly thought out every detail of the finishes in the lodge. The butcher block counter top and leaded glass cabinet doors, the porcelain door knobs, the beautiful wood throughout really immerses you in the feeling of a cabin in the woods yet has modern amenities such as a keurig (and k cups provided),a Fire tv and WiFi. We left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. We can’t wait to return!

Beautiful fall hiking weekend
This place is amazing. It is our second time at the lodge and we absolutely love it. The fireplace, the backyard, the privacy. Everything is wonderful.

Great Place!
Lehigh Cottage turned out to be a great place for the 4 of us! We had plans to visit multiple locations in the Poconos, plus participate in a local Hill Climb race, and picked this because of its central location to all that we wanted to do. The owner was very responsive to any needs or questions we had, and the 2 BR, 2 Bath cottage itself proved to be a quiet and comfortable retreat after our daily adventures. Plus, we were surprised to have access to the Great Falls of the Lehigh within walking distance of the cottage! We would definitely stay here again!!

Perfect getaway weekend spot
Did not realize that there was a fabulous area right around corner from house with waterfalls /swimhole and mill ruins. PERFECT for bringing a tube and handing for the day. Amazing views.

Never change
This is a great property in a great place. Perfect for getting in touch with nature. Had everything we needed as well as a variety of K cups.

Perfect Setting
Property was historic with a great history story! Secluded, private, comfortable! Just what we needed! The guest book was simply the best we had tears in our eyes reading the entries! We cannot wait to use this cabin or another cabin on property again!!

Escape from the Hustle and Bustle
Such a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the scenery. We really enjoyed ourselves and we would recommend this to anyone who enjoys nature and seclusion. Also very close to a grocery store and some lovely restaurants. The hosts are very kind and accomodating too!!

Idyllic Cabin for Relaxing Vacation
This has become my go-to winter location to decompress and recharge my batteries. It’s clean, off the beaten track (in the good way!) and has a lovely fireplace with a Keurig and a large-screen tv. I read, I ran (Poconos mountains are challenging but fun) and relaxed. 5/5, as usual. Highly recommended!

2 nights stay
Very comfy, clean, cozy cabin. Home away home. We will be back. Our twins (11 years old and our dog) loved it. Close to everything, nature and also all other places. We will be back.

2 nights stay
We spent 2 days at the Lehigh cottage between christmas and New Years. It was the perfect secluded, quiet place to snuggle up with a fireplace. Grant was very responsive and gave us good suggestions for dinner, the kitchen is well equipped and we made most of our meals there. The bed in the master was comfortable, shower has great water pressure, soft towels, and toiletries are included. The house has lots of cute touches, we were super comfortable. The area around the house is beautiful, it was snowy while we were there , right next to the Lehigh river. We would love to come back again in the spring or fall when we could take advantage of the parks nearby.

What's Happening in the Pocono Mountains

Ready for Spring 2025!

We had a cold winter with a lot of trees down due to ice and snow. To say we are ready for Spring is an understatement. This past season we got baby chicks and moved our custom built coop over to the barnyard. We are getting ready to create a big garden for 2025 as well. Here are a few pictures to remind you of how beautiful Stoddartsville is in Spring and Summer. We hope to have you in Stoddartsville!
